I personally like to watch science fiction movies. I like the wonders and dreams of these movies. Maybe this kind of movies can bring me feelings that I don't have in real life.
"Escape from Magic" is a long-standing movie, but recently it was rebroadcasted on Jade Channel, so I watched it again. This should be the third time I have watched this movie, but I still have endless aftertastes.
It was the first time I watched a complete drama, I was surprised.
This is a masterpiece full of fantasy and adventure. The two protagonists play a board game from the age of 12 to 38. However, when the game is finally over, they return to their 12-year-old situation and throw this weird board into the river, and the whole story ends. The first time I saw it, I was stunned when I saw the end. I kept thinking about what the protagonist would be like. After all, they have lived for 26 years after they were 12 years old, but they have to live again for the 26 years. , Of course no one knows that they lived twice this 26 years. I felt incredibly incredible at the time. It can be said that the ending is memorable and full of reverie, and the plot is wonderful and exciting.
I forgot the second time, because I only watched the clip, and the specific feelings are forgotten.
For the third time, on the Saturday night of the May Day holiday, I relived the movie again. Finding that the movie is still so thrilling, I was once again completely attracted to the magical story. The degree of excitement is hard to match even if it is obtained now, and it is a movie so long ago, its special effects are already good, I think this is a classic movie, so classic now It's getting less and less. Nowadays, many science fiction films have the same trend, a bunch of vampires, a bunch of magicians... which hot movie or drama is about which, until the audience gets tired of it.
But this film is different. A large group of large grassland animals came out of the house. Ancient hunters broke through the wall with their shotguns. The monkeys driving the police cars "melted" into the swamp-like wooden floor. The whole house was covered with thick trees and vines and the last water. It also overflowed the room...Too many magical things happened, the plot was tight, and the dangers were all around, and all of this came out of this chessboard, depending on each move of the chessboard, different things appeared, the protagonist The game must be over to let all these crazy things disappear and make the town back to normal and comfortable, in which various sentiments are revealed from time to time. Father-son, friendship, and love are all shown, warm and touching. Even though it's a long time ago, it still feels novel in this era.
And one of the scenes at the very end of the movie is: Someone will soon discover this weird chessboard again. The game will continue again...it's kind of creepy.
It's a good movie anyway!
