3. The so-called fantasy style, the theme of this movie can't be ignored. At least from the plot to the climax, I already feel that there must be a tragedy for the father and son at the end, but how the tragedy depends on the screenwriter's operation. The fantasy flavor of this work is very strong for me, such as the look of ghosts, and it can even be said to be a bit of comedy. For example, the demon entrenched by Dalton is completely in the shape of a clown. , I'm not surprised at all. But I think this design is a bonus. The texture of each ghost is very unique, not bloody, not full of anger, but each has an extremely distinctive shape, with a different kind of wax beauty (or rather Body beauty).
Another magical place is the process of josh's rescue of his son Dalton. Some pictures from "Silent Hill" and "Zero" came to mind, a lone lamp, a few dark nights, a lost road ahead, where is the beloved son? The process of josh's search for a child is a bit simple, but as long as the light is brightened and the character's skin color is warmed, it can definitely be a fantasy and warm drama about the father and son in person.
4. The so-called textbook is naturally a terrifying effect. Horror movies are not scary, and I am afraid that no matter how good the others are, they are just empty talk. After all, it is not the main theme movie, as long as you don't say anything, it is a qualified work. I think there are still a lot of highlights of this "Insidious", at least there are three:
a. Create a reasonable musical atmosphere. When you first come up, you will directly cut into the theme, and the thrilling mix will cut into the theme. Tell the audience, are you ready to be frightened? If you’re not ready, you’re going to sound the horn, and you’re about to enter the state of our horror movie. The overall music, in addition to the necessary soothing and melancholic piano music, has a fast-paced transitional beat, which is very obvious during the last Hundred Ghosts crossing, until the final abrupt end, the echoing music from the beginning and the end sounded, and it was another burst. The strong mixing, echoing from the beginning to the end, tells the audience that you can stop the feeling of horror, but we don’t guarantee that this is the beginning of real horror.

The rhythm is controlled reasonably, the narration is flat and straightforward, the rhythm is slow, and slowly begins to appear strangely, occasionally a few horror points burst, arousing the curiosity of the audience, and the rhythm is relatively relaxed after almost half of the move, but this time is very short, immediately It is the domino-style blasting of continuous thrilling points, and the audience's attention is completely attracted. Until the father and son return, the rhythm is once again relaxed, and the father's fierce appearance is revealed, the rhythm is reversed, and a sudden stop-style snap shot, abruptly stopped, and the aftermath is still there. .
c. This is my personal favorite. Although it has little to do with the main line of the movie, this way of expression can make me feel the real horror. That's when Father Josh went back to his old house with a silver lamp. He saw the original owner of the house-the whistling male host, the dazed hostess, the maid (? Butler) who fiddled with something, and the kitchen. Young lady holding a shotgun. The series of actions after that were extremely exciting! Every action is an instant solidified picture, and the expressions of everyone in each picture are so weird, until the last four people surrounded Josh and showed the same weird smile. This gloomy feeling is cold to the bone! Just like in Korea's "Odd Tan", the woman in red sits next to the protagonist who is sleeping at midnight and whispers, that weird expression, blood-red eyes, and fascinating smile, all the uncertainties come together. The unreality gave me the most terrifying feeling.
4. Insufficiency. What is the source of the horror? reality. Real stories, real feelings, real feelings, real pictures...I admire the fantasy in this movie, but if too many fantasy elements are implanted, the real feeling will become too nihilistic. The result is that the film is not powerful enough.
To give a few examples that I still remember, for example, Elise was in the process of soul dialogue, demon appeared, she just pressed dalton's head, she seemed to be doing power, a few roars resolved the moment of crisis; josh entered the soul In the world, Elise told him that he had great power, so he easily managed to get rid of the ghost man who was interfering with him; it took almost no effort to escape from the demon's room, is the demon vegetarian? I always think that it will be Dalton who will eventually be possessed. The demon who always shouts "fucking bitch" so strongly is too many times, right?
Although everything is based on a theory of nothingness, it does not contradict the quality of the shot. It's already so fantastic, isn't it better to have more real texture in the performance of the characters? Even if it is relatively true.
5. The actors in the film feel that there is nothing outstanding, but the combination of the two ghostbusters is a bit of a British comedy.
