I even think Denzel was a bit wasteful. As
soon as I watched the beginning of the movie, I thought of "I am a Legend". The two films have some similarities. Will Smith and Denzel Washington, both are the world's top actors. The two movies they starred in are both about "doomsday"-one seems to be due to a virus (I watched it a long time ago, I don't remember it), and the other is about war. The two films also dealt with the color of the image. "I Am A Legend" is a bit yellowish, and "The Book of Avery" has a darker color. The dark color also matches the theme of the film—religion. Both films are two lonely men, but Denzel has more of the same kind to communicate, and he is also more "powerful"-the sword is exquisite, and he was not killed with a gun afterwards! Will is more lonely in comparison. The backgrounds of both films are barren ruins.
Gary Oldman, acting in this movie is very much like the perverted policeman in "This Killer Isn't Cold", it seems that his evolutionary feelings are similar. However, his acting skills cannot be denied. The feeling he gives in the "Harry Potter" series is different from the feeling in these two movies. But compared with Denzel, there is still a little gap. Maybe it's not the problem of acting skills, but the personal feeling that Gary is not as "close to the people" as Denzel.
The shadow fight shortly after the beginning of the film is very visual. There is a vigor in the obscurity, and an aesthetic is reflected here.
The speakers of KFC and MOTOROLA, are the movies advertising?
I am very interested in the songs played in Eli p4, very nice.
When Gary shot Denzel, a flash of lightning flashed across the sky at the same time, which matched the genre of religious films.
Note that at the end of the movie, it is the abandoned Golden Gate Bridge~ Ha ha, in
short, the movie is very empty and very formal
