Handsome driver

The storyline is actually quite ordinary in retrospect, but director Nicholas did not make it into the mainstream like the drag racing movies produced by the Hollywood assembly line because of this ordinaryity. On the contrary, the unique framing, the relaxed rhythm, and the superb acting skills of the male protagonist make people amazing. No wonder Nicholas won the best director at this year's Cannes Film Festival (Shadow Man).
Besides, for me, the most amazing thing is the male lead. I've never seen a film he made before (it seems to be a supporting role), so this film almost impressed me unshakably. When Robert De Niro appeared as a taxi driver, the image of a lonely and powerful taxi driver was deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Now, more than 30 years later, Ryan Gosling is performing another driver that cannot be copied! (There are spoilers below!) The
first half of the movie is more relaxed, and it is also slowly highlighting the character of the driver. When I first saw it, it was really normal. It was not a brilliant and handsome gas field. The whole person was shy and feminine, but it was such a person who shocked the audience in a sudden eruption. The rendering of Gosling's facial expressions and personal temperament drove the atmosphere of the whole movie. Such a resolute, vicious and cruel, who can question whether he is a tough guy anymore? But his heart has a soft and tender side, and his deep love for the heroine is deep in his bones (when he tells the heroine where you are, I will be with you, at least when he can take care of you, he is really moved to death!!!) just Softness! ! This kind of temperament reminds me of the domineering and extreme male protagonist in some ancient Jianghu novels that YY has read. This kind of character that is only described in the book actually made Gosling come to life! The last paragraph was in a Chinese restaurant, with the corners of his mouth raised and an evil smile. At this moment, Gosling is the driver portrayed in the movie!
When it comes to bloody murders, I am very disgusted with the drama of bursting blood and screaming. "Killing can also be an art" (I mean film ==) In the film, Director Nicholas made these scenes of greeting the god of death very unique. At first, there was a calm outbreak of killing two people in the hotel. Now I want to come to the movie. The handling is very clever, not very sudden, and shocking to re-examine this normally unknown driver. The best thing is the section with the hammer. After the driver broke in, the women around did not scream and run around to avoid like normal movies. Instead, they sat silently, forming a strong visual and auditory impact with the murder scene in front of them. The impression on the beach was also very deep. The blue water roared and rolled under the night, seeming to cheer up the death-like behavior of the driver. Of course, the best part is definitely the scene in the elevator, where the scene of kissing the hostess is tender, and then turned around and kicked the killer alive, Yirou Yigang burst out silently in the small elevator, Finally, the heroine walked out of the elevator in disbelief, and the two did not say a word, until the elevator door slowly closed to separate the two, the image that the driver could not be surpassed was established.

I really can't stop my desire to take screenshots continuously, because the screenshots have no subtitles, and I watched a 90-minute film for two and a half hours! The handsome man is about to smoke! Including when he turned into a brutal assassin later, the appearance of killing is simply love to death><. Since ancient times, heroes have been saddened by the beauty level. For the sake of her beloved girl and the underworld, she had to kill her. The kiss with Carey in the elevator was so beautiful! ! !

Drive quotes

  • [first lines]

Driver: [on phone] There's a hundred-thousand streets in this city. You don't need to know the route. You give me a time and a place, I give you a five minute window. Anything happens in that five minutes and I'm yours. No matter what. Anything happens a minute either side of that and you're on your own. Do you understand?

    [pause]

Driver: Good. And you won't be able to reach me on this phone again.

  • Shannon: [to Driver] A lot of guys mess around with married women, but you're the only one I know who robs a joint just to pay back the husband. Crazy.
