It’s just that Tim Burton’s "The Wraith Family" is earlier, and the restrictions on special effects will be greater, so some physical props have to be used often. From the current point of view, these props may be silly, but It was in 1988. It was not easy to be able to express it to that extent on the lens. Especially the connection between the miniature landscape and the physical landscape is very good.
Whether ghosts really exist is naturally divided, but I really want to thank the person who first proposed this concept and opened up an extremely beautiful and rich theme for the movie. Maybe it's because the ghost movies I've watched are mostly comedies. I really think these ghosts are so cute! For example, the couple in this film are so kind that they can't even scare people, and they were almost killed by a living person. Fortunately, they had a good "result" in the end.
When I downloaded this movie, it was all because of Alec Baldwin, a rare actor that I liked very much the first time I saw it-all because of the boss who unscrupulously cursed in "The Clan for Money". In fact, his most handsome time was around 94 when he played "The Phantom Man", but unfortunately he has been hovering between the first and second tiers. He always played supporting roles in A-level big productions. He was able to dominate the headlines of the newspapers for a time, but it was because of the earth-shaking divorce battle with Kim Basinger.
Fortunately, in the past two years, Alec has completely turned over with "30 Rock", and won the Golden Globe, Emmy, and Union Awards. What makes me most happy is that I can see him every week and laugh out loud at that Jack Donaghy, Enough!
