My teacher used this film as an example in almost all the film-related courses he taught. It can be said that "Stone Breaking Shocking" must be mentioned. But even if he likes the film so much, there are mistakes in the retelling, and he can't show the wonderfulness of the film itself just in case.
I always thought that this movie was so important because it was screened and successful in mainland China. I probably have a prejudice that action movies are no better.
This film can represent the most important features of outstanding films on this planet: layers of paving, meticulous carving, gripping, and wonderful. It's not that those films that directly reflect life and "slowly" are not good, but that film as a skill is far from that.
Griffith's "Last Minute Rescue" was brought to the extreme in this film.
There should be a shot-by-shot analysis of this film, and I won’t say anything about the plot.
Such films are worthy of being called blockbuster films.
