Why the movie is called "seven pounds"
7 pounds
comes from Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice"
when the bet has been placed or the debt must be repaid, otherwise it must be repaid with a pound of meat. One of the stories is that a merchant creditor collects debts. Must cut a pound of meat.
The meaning of this film is that Will Smith owed 7 lives before, so he had to pay 7 pounds of flesh. This is also the main line of the movie. Will has been asking for help. Seven people came from me to redeem
the film called seven pounds. : The
protagonist donated 7 compensations from himself to redeem the seven innocent souls who lost their lives in the rain caused by him. The
Taiwanese translation name "Seven Lives Fortunately" has this meaning. (Seven lives are fortunate)
The 7 rescued people are:
Emily Posa (heart) [the woman who gave him hope in life]
Ezra Turner (eyes) [a blind pork salesman who does not eat pork]
Ben Thomas (lung) [his biological brother]
Holly (Liver) [A black woman working at the Family Service and Child Welfare Center]
Connie (house) [A woman abused by her boyfriend]
Nicholas (Marrow) [A black child]
George (Kidney) [Ice hockey coach]

Three and a half. The plot arrangement is very problematic. I never thought that this is an emotional suspense film, and it hides so much baggage in the dialogue.
