Hellboy, a visitor from hell, is described in the movie as a "weird" who dares to love and hate, does things in a single line, but is frank and cute. Although he is a monster, he longs to be recognized. He didn’t want to exist silently, so he did a lot of things to make the world aware of his existence. He showed up in a high-profile manner. He posed to take pictures and made people go to yutube. He stood by the window deliberately, and then he could “accidentally” blast out. Outside the window, and was discovered by people. He succeeded. When he fell free from the window, a piece of music and his comfortable expression announced to the world that I, Hellboy, the hell monster appeared. But when he appeared in front of the public, he did not gain the respect of a hero. What mankind gave him was fear and suspicion, which made him feel disappointed and sad.
When human beings treat existences different from themselves, they always lack tolerance. When can human beings be less arrogant, do they think they only exist, and do they regard themselves as the master of the world? Human beings lack a little respect for nature? When humans realize that there are planets with similar environments in the solar system, humans will still feel that they are the only one? Is the probability of human beings so irreproducible? I doubt that the same thing can happen to produce a highly intelligent group. The film uses the existence of ancient multi-ethnic intelligent life as the background, I think it has the meaning of questioning human beings.
There is a strong conflict between the pros and cons in the film, but I think the elves are not wrong, nor is Hellboy. They are all defending their own right to speak, and starting from their own interests, their demands are reasonable. However, the last sentence of the elves clarified the theme of the movie, "Which side should be in the position of the slaughter?" Resolving conflicts is not only a means of elimination. Highly intelligent creatures should learn to coexist and win-win, which is also scientific development. See the reasonable basis of existence: -D
Red's pregnancy in the film should also be an important element of humanity in the movie script. The care for the weak and small lives can better reflect the nature of human sex. When Hellboy protects the little baby and fights with the tree monster, the tree monster itself is also a little baby, and life disappears like this. If one wants to protect one, one must be destroyed. The contrast between the two is so strong. Scenes of "love" in the film abound, when Hellboy and fish are singing, when Hellboy is drinking, when Hellboy hears that he is about to wake up when his father... There is an impressive scene in which red is in death. The front said that even if Hellboy is the factor that destroys the world, she wants her to resurrect. Love is selfless and selfish. You can't force her to abandon love for justice and the world for love. This is normal. In the film, Dr. Yan is gradually enlightened from stubbornness, and his understanding of love is gradually deepened. In the end, he is assimilated by love.
Monsters may be powerful, but the power of humans cannot be ignored. Hellboy's power can't lack the equipment given to him by the FBI. The application of pistols and the super powers of monsters make the monsters even more powerful. I think the script is really well written. It did not ignore this aspect, and did not ignore the human power because of the emphasis on the monster's ability. When Hellboy was about to leave, he still retained the pistol. I think this implies wisdom and technology for humans. For sure.
A combat group needs a mage or wise man, a doctor, a ranged attack, and a fighter. Hellboy is undoubtedly the warrior, he is the main attacker, Dr. Yan is the main tactical planner, fish is a doctor, and red's flame attack and range attack are well compensated for red's single powerful attack. Such a group makes people feel that they are fighting in groups, which weakens some of the heroism and makes the movie more full. The final duel between the elf prince and Hellboy was a battle between a thief and a warrior. It was discovered that the thief’s perception was weak, otherwise it would not be caught from behind.
Generally speaking, this is a very good movie. Otherwise, it won’t make me think so much. It is clear, full and logical, expresses profound thoughts, and is intriguing. Although the action pictures are not gorgeous. But it is also eye-catching. It’s a pity that I can’t watch such a wonderful movie in the cinema. Fortunately, I downloaded the 480p SD version to make up for some regrets. I can’t wait to download the previous episode and I hope I can get such a surprise.
Also, can't smile without you sounds nice.
