A cruel joke-"Burn After Reading"

Everyone knows that there is a financial tsunami sweeping the world right now, things are far from going away, and no one knows how serious the consequences will be. The disaster was caused by the Americans. Why do they make such a thing? Because they have been living a good life for too long, they regard themselves too great, and they are becoming more and more greedy. They have at least two or three good lives, and movies and TVs that describe the emptiness and ridiculousness of the middle class are already innumerable. The Coen Brothers "Burn after Reading" is just the latest product in this catalog.

I don't see many movies of the Coen brothers, and at one point I confuse them with David Lynch's style. I have watched "The Ladykillers" and "Intolerable Cruelty", and I feel that the former is a bit boring, while the latter is more general. Of course, the Coen brothers have not seen several other classics that have a better reputation, and they cannot be generalized. The problem is, after seeing those two, I can't get enough energy to look for their works. I don't like George Clooney too much, although he is so handsome that he doesn't keep his hands.

Finally, this "Burn After Reading" is quite satisfactory. Strong black satirical comedy, everyone is a big fool, they are self-righteous, not worthy of sympathy; almost every line is hilarious, and the major turning point makes people jump up again. It is very good that a film can be shot like this. The happiest thing to watch is a bunch of big names vying to be idiots, one more stupid than the other.

Idiot first place: fitness coach played by Brad Pitt. I have never felt about BP, but this film made me feel good about him. He always felt like a beautiful and tasteless main dish, which could not be served but had no appetite to eat. But in this play, he suddenly became a dish of stinky tofu, with a gratifying taste and an addictive taste. He had eaten it before he knew it, and he was still full of meaning. It is said that after reading the script, BP heard that the character was tailor-made for him, and was a little confused as to whether it was a compliment or an insult to him. He told the director that he didn't know how to act, because this role was a big fool, and the director said: You are fine. The vision is really poisonous.

Idiot second place: Playboy played by George Clooney. The young man is a typical hollow radish. He has no ambitions. At most, he is engaged in online dating and bubble old girls. He has time to do some tricky crafts. He is not talented and looks good, so he likes to exercise and keep his body vigor and elasticity. Picking up girls was so complacent, but I didn't expect that not only did his wife have already left the wall, she also planned to demolish the wall. Clooney is said to have been an idiot for the Coen brothers three times, "O Brother, Where Art Thou?", "Intolerable Cruelty" and the film are therefore dubbed Clooney's "Idiot Trilogy". However, I still don't think he is particularly cute.

Third place for idiots and first place for fanatics: the unlucky ghost played by John Malkovich. In addition to BP, this character is my favorite. madman. Think that everyone else is crazy, but he is not.

Fourth place for idiots and first place for idiots: a middle-aged woman played by Francis McDormand. I have a delusion, thinking that as long as I have a plastic surgery, I can start a new sex life. In order to raise money for plastic surgery, all methods are "legitimate", typical of paranoia. This role particularly highlights the narrow vision and ridiculous greed of the middle class, which is one of the root causes of the financial tsunami mentioned at the beginning of this article: pursuing things that are unhelpful and unaffordable; not knowing what you are. In the end things got out of control.

Apricot tied for first place: Markovic's wife (Tilda Swinton) and Clooney's wife are both strong men. While going out of the wall, he calmly prepared to kick her husband away. The old saying goes well, the most poisonous to a woman's heart. Tilda gives full play to the cold to cold features, and cools the tune in a film dominated by stupidity.

Take advantage of the first: Richard Jenkins played the gym owner. The injustice of this person, alas. . . Why did he fall into the hands of the Coen brothers? These two people are famous for creating evil spirits. Speaking of it, it seems that he is the only one who is not bad or stupid in the whole film, but if someone is lucky, there is nothing left to say.

Idiot Grand Prize, Pistachio tied for first place: the two chiefs of the CIA. One of them is the newspaper owner in Spider-Man. When the two of them spoke, other idiots could only give way, and the audience could only laugh. Government departments are in charge of such people, and it would be strange if the financial tsunami does not come.

The favorite line of the whole film: (The first and fourth idiots gave a CD to the Russian embassy officials, saying that it contained important information.) The officer took the CD and asked calmly: PC or Mac?

I laughed.

This movie is full of such calm nonsense; even the soundtrack sounds very interesting, but it doesn't mean anything. The whole film is just a joke, a neat, cruel, funny and vicious joke.

ps: "Gosford Manor" looks like a detective film, but in fact it shows big names. "Burn after Reading" looks like a spy movie, but it actually shows a big name.
