Those simple and beautiful little happiness

This movie was revisited nearly ten years later and I still like it.

In fact, it’s not a brilliant movie after thinking about it. Hugh Grant plays the little bookstore owner as if he is a male version of Cinderella, and got a happy ending. Since then, the prince and princess have lived a happy life.
It's so vulgar and vulgar. But I still like it, and don't even mind reviewing it over and over again.
How Stefanie Sun sings, I miss the simple and beautiful little happiness of the past.
Those simple and beautiful little happiness, there are in "Notting Hill".

At the final press conference, Hugh Grant ran to redeem his feelings.
Before that, a reporter asked Julia Roberts, Anna, how long will you stay in the UK?
Julia Roberts said, no longer stay, and leave tonight.
Hugh Grant, wearing a pink shirt, raised his hand and once again pretended to be a reporter for "Horse and Hound". The agent clicked on him, and he asked Anna whether she would reconsider if the gentleman named Zac realized that she was a dumb bird.
Anna, who gave the affirmative answer, turned her head and whispered a few words to the broker. The agent called the reporter who asked the question before and asked him to repeat the question just now.
The reporter named Dominic said, Anna, how long will you stay in the UK?
Julia Roberts said to stay indefinitely.
Hugh Grant's green eyes shone, and Julia Rboerts's smile in front of the camera was so touching.

Although the above plot once reminded me of similar segments in "Roman Holiday".
But I like these little details that are warmly handled.
Just like that line that I still remember, Anna, played by Julia Roberts, stood in front of Zach, the travel bookstore owner played by Hugh Grant, and said, I am just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.
Also There is a movie that Anna returned to London to shoot, a script by Henry James, which was also suggested by Zach before.
Even the reporters with long guns and short cannons seem to be extra tolerant at the end of the film.

Sometimes I feel that Zac, played by Hugh Grant, doesn’t see too much light. Anna is a woman who stands above him from the beginning and makes him admire. How did he attract Anna and how to be big? Start a truly happy life after the happy ending?
But looking at his friends, you will feel that he who has such good friends must have something to love.
Their self-deprecating humor for the unsatisfactory in life is moving.
To fight for the last piece of cake, everyone needs to tell their own tragedy.
Everyone said that career, love, disability, infertility, etc., etc. It is rare that everyone treats each other frankly and faces their own setbacks in the most peaceful way.
Just as a restaurant with friends is about to close, everyone still gathers together and says to celebrate with a toast to the two worst people. It is almost impossible for life to be unsatisfactory. Such a positive attitude makes people feel that it is really not a big deal.
As an old Chinese saying goes, it is not necessarily unreasonable that the one who is near Zhu is red and the one who is near ink is black.
There is comfort when you are frustrated, you are willing to cut your sword when you need help, and have sincere happiness and blessing when you are happy. Zach who has such friends, like Hugh Grant’s green eyes, is bound to shine. Shining place.
It's just that compared to Anna's radiance, they are just simple and beautiful little happiness, which needs to be discovered slowly and patiently tasted.

I want to believe that Anna saw it.
The large courtyard that has appeared repeatedly is large enough to accommodate a loving and ordinary couple, as well as their upcoming baby.

Of course it is a fairy tale.
But I am willing to review it again and again, and I am willing to hit The End again and again at the perfect ending, so that happiness will freeze. why not?

Notting Hill quotes

  • Anna Scott: "For June, who loved this garden, from Joseph, who always sat beside her." Some people do spend their whole lives together.

  • William: Sorry about the "surreal but nice" comment.

Anna Scott: Don't worry, I thought the whole apricot honey thing was the real low point.
