Not much breakthrough

The sequel to the film is currently on the air. I never watch a movie from the sequel, so I took out this 04 film. As a treasure hunt story, the film is qualified, the plot is tortuous, mysterious, and the treasure hunt process is wonderful. Although the gimmick seems old-fashioned: the treasure map on the back of the Declaration of Independence, the United States hid many missing treasures in human history at the beginning of the founding of the nation, even including the books of the Alexandria Library.

After watching so many movies, I concluded that it is very difficult to expect innovation in every film as it has developed to this day. Many movies with cliché plots are still very good-looking. Besides, the main selling point of this film is treasure hunting, not a deep theme. Another highlight of this film is that the treasure hunting locations are the Capitol Hill, Independence Monument, Wall Street, and famous churches that Americans know well. Many people have been to those places, and treasures worth hundreds of billions of dollars are buried there. This is true. Feeling is incomparable to the treasures of remote mountains, old forests, wilderness, and isolated islands. I don’t know if any lunatics tried to steal documents from the Declaration of Independence after watching this movie.
