I can't lift it up in one breath

Nicholas’ performance is okay, and the storyline is generally okay, but when I’m watching the movie, why is there no big ups and downs in my mood, no unexpected surprises, and no fresh feelings? Although it was so many years later than Raiders of the Lost Ark, it was far behind the latter's achievements. Too much underestimation of the audience's IQ, just follow the routine of commercial films. In fact, I watched it with great enthusiasm, but I didn't feel good until the end, so I missed that breath.
