This kind of film, if not in theaters, is basically difficult to watch.
The story is outdated, and there are too many similar previous works. Some people have joked that they can still "water roars in Shanghai", "water roars in Tokyo", and "water roars in Paris"; the interpretation is mediocre, the actors are all good, but the tricks are not enough.
However, when projected on the big screen, sound, light and shadow are mixed and fermented, which is always easy to accept. Maybe it is because I have seen a lot of disasters in reality this year, and I am very emotional and even moved.
More uncomfortable is that many details do not make sense. For example, the father and son have been separated for many years, and inexplicably reconciled; for example, the old man must die when he goes deep into the water to open the valve; for example, the facial expression of the congresswoman, why is it like a smile all the time... Countless.
The most unpleasant thing is that when it closed for a while, it didn't even show the hedge between the two currents, which was simply anticlimactic. My guess is that the special effect fee is not enough.
