To be honest, after watching this film once, I still have no idea, and I watched it N times again.
Needless to say, the acting skills of the actors are top-notch; the characters are well portrayed, and the plot is ups and downs.
But what attracted me the most was the singing in the movie.
Which is not only the thick, full and broad male voice, but also has the high-pitched and bright female voice.
It may be that I don't listen to much opera, but none of the opera arias I've ever heard appeal to me so much.
In the N times I've watched it over and over again, Farinelli's singing is on the spot.
Later, when I downloaded the original soundtrack on E-Donkey, I was scratching my head every time I listened to it.
It was only later that I learned that the voice was produced by using modern advanced computer technology to mix male, female and children's voices from different voices. Farinelli's voice could only be associated with it.
