I have mixed feelings about this. I like it in some places, but I am a little dissatisfied with it. Many places can be written more advanced and deeper, but it stops when I click on it. The author himself said that the source of inspiration for drawing Victor is JCM. He may indeed be a musical fan. He also buried some stalks in the selection of players~
Here's what I recognize:
1. Victor's look: This one's not much to say, rock Barbie creator and star John Cameron Mitchell.
2. Phichit's entry song: Shall We Stake?
The parody is of course the shall we dance in "The King and I". This is the masterpiece of Rogers and Hammerstein II. And this drama tells the story that happened in Thailand, and it also forms a good correspondence with the Thai player Phichit. Needless to say, R&H's status on Broadway, audiences who don't watch musicals also know the Sound of Music. Their influence on music worldwide is also immeasurable. A lot of jazz standard songs are actually written by them, and fans and friends, you will never walk alone are also written by them.
There is also a film adaptation of the show, starring Uber Lennar. The English name of "Talk About Love, Dance and Dance" directed by Zhou Fangzhengxing and starring Koji Yakusho is called shall we dance, and the lines of this play also appear many times. In the film, a dance teacher mentioned to the protagonist that dancing was because he fell in love with Uberlinna in "The King and I".
3. A tale of a sleeping prince by Ge Popovich, a lovelorn, should be a parody of sleeping beauty, and the skating process is also a story of sleeping beauty.
4. Czech player Nikolai's repertoire is excerpted from the movie Anastasis, which should be a parody of the true and false princess of Anastasia. The musical is based on the previous Fox animated film, and the evaluation cannot be considered high, but it is still relatively popular because of the ramen. Interestingly, there is an old movie about True and False Princess, the heroine is Ingrid Berman, and the hero is Uberlena who has left the country in "The King and I" just now~
These are relatively certain. There is also a desire of the knights that is suspected to be a parody of Camelot, but it is not as obvious as the above four~
