Perhaps the saddest part of watching fate/stay night is that Archer reincarnates again and again, is betrayed, tries to save them, and is betrayed again. When his ideals were destroyed and his hopes were no longer recalled, he did not fight for the Holy Grail, but only for himself. After seeing the ideal of the male protagonist who fights for the happiness of others and wants to protect everyone around him, he realizes that the male protagonist is his younger self. After so many endless reincarnations, he just wants to kill the male protagonist, because the ideal will not be realized. It's too painful to see. After such an experience, I realize that it is too tragic to give up my ideal.
