The mentality of whether you would prefer to see Mrs. Darcy or another British drama determines its quality

If I were a professional and sharp-eyed film critic, I would probably have a lot of criticism for this film. But I'm just a simple and ordinary viewer who doesn't watch TV dramas carefully, so I will be relatively "forgiving" to this film.

As a British detective miniseries, it is undoubtedly relatively good in terms of plot creation.

The shooting is very classical and beautiful, whether it is a still shot or a shaking shot, the plot is well grasped. The cooler ambient colors put the audience in a serious murder narrative environment.

The case is based on the "prejudice" theme of the original work, and the ending is attributed to Jane Austen's comedy destination,

so it is a good sequel from the above aspects.

However, there are obvious problems in this play. Like everyone complained, I personally think that the biggest drawback of this work lies in the shaping of the male and female protagonists.

Mr. Darcy is sometimes too cheerful and sometimes too violent. The "noble and glamorous" in the original work has not been fully developed in this sequel. The appearance of the actors is still okay, but the actress selection of our heroine, Miss Elizabeth, is even more difficult to accept. Anna Maxwell Martin is an excellent British actress, undeniably, but not yet good enough to play Elizabeth, who is too different from herself. In terms of appearance, she is different from what we have in mind, but in terms of personality, she is not as lively as most audiences expect to see (if it is because the family has become calm, at least she should be more cheerful), humorous and intelligent (of course. It was she who finally solved the case, but what she played was a steady and capable hostess, and what she lacked was the sense of intelligence revealed by her words and deeds).

The performances of other actors in this play can still be said to have the taste of the original. Also, I would like to say a few more words about Lydia's actress, Clara, the heroine of Doctor Who. This ridiculous character plays a very good role in adjusting the atmosphere in this suspenseful British drama. It was supposed to be a pretty annoying character set, but Jenna made me laugh for a while every time she came out - at least for the first two episodes.
