This is not just an ordinary love story

Personal experience, five stars. Before I watched it, I thought it was just a mediocre youth love story. It was probably because of this ridiculous name. After watching a few episodes, I found out that this is not an ordinary youth story. It is about all the growth problems that exist in adolescence. The so-called "adolescence syndrome" is about the identity and group behavior of adolescent girls.

Sakuta Azusagawa, who was slandered by rumors, Kaede Azusagawa who was stressed due to school violence, Mai Sakurajima, who did not exist because of the atmosphere of the campus, Kazuya Toyohama, who admired her sister too much and denied herself, and suppressed emotions and split her personality. Futaba, Shoko Makinohara who gave birth to his future self because of poor health, they have more or less shadows of our past.

Rumors, school violence, misfits, jealousy, depression, fantasies, all these are expressed in a very vivid and even magical way in the film. Quantum mechanics is only a scientific way of explaining, but the real quantum of adolescence is the growing but fragile heart of.

It is beautifully depicted in the film, all problems are solved, and they are solved by teenagers and girls on their own, with little help from their parents. Growing pains, struggles, and sometimes I slowly let go. But in the company of companions, maybe it will be warmer.

At the end, I suddenly seemed to understand why the male protagonist Sakuta Azusakawa always looked listless and said the most arrogant words in the calmest tone.

Azusakawa Sakuta is a person who is cold on the outside and hot on the inside, calm and sensible, the strongest person in the film, and the kindest person. That's why Mai Sakurajima, the heroine who has a similar experience, likes him.

Azusakawa Sakutayoshi is not a face, but it makes me look at puberty syndrome more calmly and objectively. There is no liveliness, but another kind of reality to express youth, which may be a little magical, but such adolescence is quite close to real life.

But when I watched this show, I was no longer a teenager. All those feelings and confusions that are unique to adolescence, I have lost them.

The saddest thing in life is that youth only comes once. When I realized it, I was no longer young.
