Dog-tailed mink (short review, deep blue sea 2)

These days, films under the banner of "sequels" are not uncommon, and the quality is mixed. Today's review is a pure money-making work, which is annoying.

American movie "deep blue sea 2"

Genre: Horror

Main cast: Danielle Savre (as Misty), Rob Mayes (as Trent), Nathan Lynn (as Aaron)

Story Overview: Humans vs Genetically Modified Bull Sharks

Release Date: April 17, 2018 in the United States

Pretty boring, pretty lame, pretty "pretend" work! The film exudes a strong copper smell up and down, which is disgusting. Next, the author briefly commented on this film with the shortest length.

I, the character is stupid

Compared with the previous work (99' version), most of the characters in this work are "brain disabled".

a, Durant, a giant in the pharmaceutical industry who looks like a "idiot" (drinking "Gene Catalyst" all day long, with zero IQ)

b, "Brick House" Living Treasure, Leslie and Daniel ("showing affection" all the way, play in minutes)

c, Misty, the heroine with a "first-class body" and a "worrying" IQ (nagging, inexplicable)

Bunch of crap!

II, the story sucks

Plot elements : The greedy man "creates" a mutant bull shark (Bella's cub), conducts experiments, and reaps the consequences. (This setting is really old-fashioned. Talking about new ideas, no! In terms of highlights, there are very few! Only embarrassment.)

Narrative advancement : One rib, positive and negative characters, clear at a glance. After reading the beginning, I guessed the ending (the three protagonists were rescued, "playing soy sauce", "villain", and irrelevant characters were all killed). Is this also called drama? The level of the three-year-old urchin, the naked money-making behavior.

III, poor style

Talk about three aspects, picture, soundtrack, theme

Screen: IMHO, at most 5 cents of special effects. Apart from a few bloody scenes (Craig being eaten in the face, Mike being bitten off the head, Leslie being bitten off the lower body), there are few highlights. What's the point of such cheap sci-fi and horror movies? !

Soundtrack: Compared to the unsatisfactory picture, the soundtrack of the film is even less worth mentioning. The ability to arrange music is very problematic. I can't find the tune at all.

Theme: Finally, let's talk about the theme of the film (leave it on the surface). Clearly, two revelations.

1. Revealing that the greatest harm to the ocean comes from human greed and selfish desires (eating shark fins, drinking cod liver oil, killing marine life at will...)

2. Learn more about sharks (nature, habits), remove prejudice and habitual thinking

For a bad film, no more words, the brief review is over!

Director ☆☆☆☆ (The performance of the sequel has plummeted, and the director's strength and IQ have become questionable)

Actor ☆☆☆☆ (good figure, nothing else)

Story ☆☆☆☆☆ (no story)

Visual effects ☆☆☆☆ (zero special effects, zero picture quality)

Sound ★☆☆☆☆ (inferior)

Deep Blue Sea 2 quotes

  • [last lines]

Teenage Boy: There are no sharks at this beach, I promise you.

  • Trent Slater: Aaron? What's the most important rule here?

Aaron Ellroy: Don't piss into the wind and don't pull on Superman's cape...

    [Trent seems disgruntled]

Aaron Ellroy: Yeah, no, that's the second most important rule of course.
