This movie, which looks like a children's film, actually reflects the different inner worlds and thoughts of children and adults. It also reflects the current situation in Iran, people's embarrassment and yearning for peace.
In the film, I think the person who can handle things the most and is also the kindest is the little boy who sells white balloons. He is not the protagonist. But in the event, because of his performance, the problem was solved satisfactorily.
There are several developmental processes in the story, from the way the adults view and deal with things to the constant anxiety of the little girl, there are contrasts and similarities and differences.
All the grown-ups helped the little girl too, but didn't really fix it. From the point of view of the little girl, she is still anxious when she can't get the lost money. Only when she gets it will she not be worried about being scolded by her mother, so she can go home for the New Year.
And the little boy who sold the balloons, he was just a passerby who was selling balloons. The little girl's brother went over to "snatch" his balloons, trying to hook up the money that fell in the underground kiln with the pole he tied the balloons to.
Under the quarrel, the little boy selling the balloons learned the reason, gave up the quarrel, and helped the little girl and her brother hook up the 500 Tuman note that the little girl had been searching for all day.
But the pole had no hook and no stickiness, so it couldn't catch the five hundred Tuman. The little girl's brother asked everyone if they had chewing gum, and they all said no. He ran to buy it, but he didn't have the money to buy it, so he dropped it on the way. Rain, he can only run back again.
The boy who sold the balloons was gone when he ran back. When I saw this, I thought he was gone too, because it was raining, because it was none of his business, because he still had to sell balloons to go home for the New Year.
But I was wrong because the boy who sold the balloons is back! This is what surprised me the most in the film. Several of his balloons were missing, and there was only one left. But he brought a box of chewing gum! very nice! The little girl's brother took the chewing gum from the boy's hand and said that we will play a game, and then each person will share a piece of chewing gum, and everyone will start chewing to see who can chew faster, and whoever spit it out first will stick it to the pole. The three of them chewed like that, chewing happily, and that smile was the most innocent.
As a result, the little girl's brother won, and immediately glued it to the bottom of the pole, and then reached into the cellar to retrieve the bill. It was caught, but it fell off immediately. At this time, the little boy who sold the balloons said that I would come, but the little girl wanted it too. The three of them were arguing, and everyone wanted to try it. The little girl tried it, and she dropped it immediately...
The little boy who sold the balloons couldn't get a chance to catch it, and the little girl's brother finally caught it for the last time! Take it up slowly. All three kids are very smart guys!
But as soon as it was fished, the little boy hurriedly took his sister and left. At that time, it was very close to the Chinese New Year, so it could be calculated by points. Not allowed to think, the little girl was pulled away by her brother, and the child looked back at the little boy who was selling the balloons, perhaps feeling that he was missing a word of thanks.
The little boy who sold the balloons looked at their distant backs, sat down silently, and stayed there in a daze...
Seeing this is the end, I am also in a daze.
I was thinking that the little girl can finally go home without worrying about being scolded by her mother. But what about the little boy who sold the balloons? He used the balloon money to buy chewing gum to help the little girl. But he also has to go home for the New Year, will it be his turn to be scolded now? I am worried. Maybe some people didn't think about this layer. But as long as you put yourself in your shoes, you will think of it.
The little boy is willing to take risks to help the little girl, not that he is stupid, but that he is kind. He was so kind that he didn't think about it for himself, but as long as he thought about it, he couldn't help this matter come to fruition. He sacrificed himself to fulfill the little girl. Although he was not thanked in the end, maybe the little girl's brother also felt that this kind of help was taken for granted, so he didn't show anything after receiving the help. After these three people grew up, they represented three types of people and also alluded to this society.
If it were me, I'd still be the little boy selling balloons. Because he is the most innocent, magnanimous, and glorious!
