(Text: Vulcan Ji)

two men, chasing the road that their father once walked; completing the unfinished business of his father.
From here, where will it stop in the end.
No one knows, and neither do I; but what I do know is that I will accompany them all the way to the end. - Vulcan Ji. Inscription.

1. Character settings.

Dean Winchester, played by Jensen Ackles - Brave; mighty; impulsive yet witty.
Sam Winchester, played by Jared Padalecki - discreet; steady; sensual and compassionate.
They fought side by side, killing all the way.

Following the rule that no one is perfect, these two brothers are not perfect, but they have formed a very good complementarity in character; perhaps, this is the most fundamental reason why they can go so far. If the protagonist is only set to be any of them, they are unlikely to go this far; or to combine their personalities, but aesthetic fatigue will still cut them off.
Two people, in the dark world set up for us by this four-year-old drama series, their occasional jokes or mockery of each other can always bring us a gentler and brighter feeling. hapiness. This gives us an emotional zone that can be buffered - moved by their brotherhood, sighed by their helpless fate, and never left for their firm beliefs.
They don't have to be overly lonely; we don't have to be overly tired. We will always like this him, or we will like that him; we will never be turned away. Their lack of loneliness brings us a warm feeling from the heart, without causing a heavy depression due to excessive loneliness.

2. Intrinsic mode.

Diversity - One story per episode; sometimes two episodes of one story.
Split Seasons - The first season has a big mainline running through it from beginning to end, and finally merges each small episode into a big story like a small stream.

This is a pattern common to most successful American dramas. I have said in previous drama reviews that it has something to do with its broadcast cycle and viewing habits. Without the burden of a continuous plot, one episode per week seems pretty light, and the overall seamlessness keeps a season's episodes from feeling overly loose.
In this regard, I will not go into details.

3. Fight like a man.

They never knew what they would face today. Fortunately, their father's diary would guide them along the way. Fortunately, their father's old acquaintances would give them all the help they could. Fortunately, they still had the courage and strength to keep going like this ; The specialization in the art industry and the helpless fate pushed them to the path they should take - slaying demons and slaying demons.
Fight like a man - brave, hardworking, passionate, sturdy; so they can beat any opponent, overcome all odds, overcome all obstacles, kill all monsters all the way to the present.

In my opinion, this is an alternative American dream. Driving the legendary 1967 redesigned Chevrolet Impala down America's interstates, hearing AC/DC's wild Hard Rock, staying in the cheapest motel, eating delicious sandwiches And beer...if it was a movie, it would be a typical road movie; as an episode, I don't know what to call it.
Fight like a man, walk around like a man, fight everywhere. From state to state, from identity to identity, always showing up where needed, doing what they were supposed to do. From this perspective, this series is as emotionally charged as a heroic epic. The American Dream is not just a reverie about beauty; sometimes, it can be a flat interpretation of punishing evil and promoting good and justice and evil.
Freedom, fighting, bravery, steadfastness; all, more of a struggle about the heroic nature of the individual. Fight like a man, overcome all the demons in front of you, and pursue a redemption that may still

be far away... 4. Destined...

A certain month and a certain night; the demon fed Sam, who was still a baby, with his own blood. Therefore, part of the blood flowing in Sam's body comes from the unknown dark world. For a plan that none of us knew, the mother became a sacrifice to the devil, the father turned himself into a witcher to avenge his mother and find out the truth; Dean and Sam became the descendants of the witcher, They have to learn to take care of themselves, protect themselves, and assist their father in some hunts.
When the blood of the devil poured into Sam's mouth and was swallowed, everything was actually destined to happen. The seemingly scattered first season is actually moving forward along the path that my father has already walked; completing those unfinished careers, looking for the trace of my father, and solving the mysterious final truth.

What's fascinating about this show is that lurking truth at the end that keeps us chasing it all the way. And what it involves is almost all the Western magic and legends, the most classic and the most bizarre-Bloody Mary, vampires, werewolves, sirens... We can almost see them in this series.
This is almost an irresistible proposition for fans who like horror movies. When we see a tragedy that has been doomed and permeated in such a bizarre atmosphere, we are actually attracted to it involuntarily.

5. Battle of Chaos.

The first season is actually just a battle of chaos. What Dean and Sam were fighting for, they didn't really know; they just wanted to find the father who never came back after embarking on the hunt, and fight with him by his side.
This is how the plot develops all the way, there is no clear main line, just because I know that my father will fight for something somewhere, so I trace the past and complete the missions that should have been completed by their father; now All this has become their mission.

Kill demons. Maybe it's just because they have the ability to defend the weak against the seemingly invincible evil. Go forward, go all the way, and fight until the sky is dark.

6. Crossroads, a deal with the devil.

At a crossroads, dig a hole, bury something specific in the hole, make a wish before the devil who comes, tell him what he wishes, and then your wishes will be fulfilled; of course, you must pay the price. A kiss of death and the dust settles.
The father traded his life for the life of his child; Dean traded his life for Sam's. This family looks so unfortunate. When Sam wanted to make a deal with the devil, the devil was unwilling to make a deal with him; because, a bigger conspiracy was unfolding.

Cursed, or given a mission and responsibility; when Dean died, I thought the show would end so bleakly. However, I really underestimated the ability of those screenwriters. At the beginning of the next season, Dean came back to life again, crawled out of the grave, and with exhaustion and confusion, ripped the dirt out of his own grave. Crawled out and staggered to another unknown journey.

7. A new holy war is starting.

annihilation. All over again. It's just that it's still the same God; but we don't know if the devils are still those devils.
The devil has a plan of the devil; God has another plan. New prophets write new Bibles; the stories of heroes are still recorded and will be told for centuries to come.
Where it starts, it should end. When Dean unlocked the first seal of the afterlife, Dean became the one chosen to be the hero; the angels pulled him up from the depths of hell. The final result of the battle between angels and demons will be expected; or, it will be unexpected.

From the aimless first season to the fourth season of the new era; this series integrates a series that is more atmospheric as it goes on. It's rare to be able to do that, but I'm a little worried about how it will end.
Of course, Dean's resurrection gave me even greater hope. Because the way of his resurrection surprised me, I thought about many possibilities, but I couldn't imagine such a situation; so, I thought, after such a big theme, how will it develop in the future? It's far beyond what I could have imagined.
However, I'm still a little worried - such a proposition, whether those tough screenwriters can continue to fool me so obsessively. Small propositions are actually much easier to write and shoot well than big ones; if you don't grasp them properly, there will be a possibility of slippage in the fifth season.

8. The coming year; the way to go.

I'm looking forward to season five; however, I'm equally worried about season five. I will accompany them all the way, because I do not know where they will end up; but I am still worried, because I am afraid that the final destination is not the one I want.
Sam's talent became his obscure scourge; and that suspense set at the end of season four - when I knew the last seal would be for a man of integrity to kill the greatest demons, I already knew, Sam Will kill the biggest demon and release a stronger demon. The annihilation has begun.

How it started and how it will end. A lot of unsolved mysteries are waiting for us, in the final battle, whether Dean will usher in a new era by killing the last demon as God planned, I look forward to it.
Fighting from earth to hell, and fighting back from hell to earth; now, he has participated in the holy war between heaven and hell. The so-called Trinity may be nothing more than that.
The arrival of a new era will bring a new epic, and the inauguration of a new era will bring a new Bible. With such a big proposition, the possibility of the fifth season messing up is quite high. The whole "Supernatural" will become a new biblical story; but it will eventually become a classic, or a follow-up to the decline of the mink. Saying anything now is actually quite redundant; see you next year.

  • Dean Winchester: Who are you?

Castiel: I'm the one who gripped you tight and raised you from Perdition.

Dean Winchester: Yeah, thanks for that.

  • Dean Winchester: Who are you?

    Castiel: Castiel.

Dean Winchester: Yeah, I figured that much. I mean *what* are you?

Castiel: I'm an angel of the Lord.
