I admit to watching "Yossi & Jagger" because of laughing. Just about to cry. I'm sad, but I think this seems to be the best ending. Jagger waited for an unfulfilled promise, and Yossi expressed his love without hesitation. This relationship is definitely not sustainable in the reality of the movie, I would rather see the end of the dead.
