The plot is compact, there is Zhang Youchi, and the characters are portrayed just right. The only thing that feels wrong is the amount of anecdotal plot that appears in the film. Such as campaign immorality, Kennedy's private life, their grudges with Hoover and Johnson. Although these things are widely spread, there is no solid factual basis. So I think this film might mislead some inexperienced people.
Strangely, though, the film doesn't trumpet the behind-the-scenes story of Kennedy's death. I think this may be because there are so many versions of the stories of the two Kennedys being assassinated, and the screenwriters couldn't agree, so they had no choice but to take a different approach from filming the previous stories, only filming the assassination incident, not the origin of the story.
