Most Chinese translate this film as "Love from a Stranger", in fact, it is not about any fantasy love story, also known as "The Gentleman and the Tramp", "Another You in the World". Based on a previous song called "Another Me in the World," with all three leading actors nominated for Oscars, two winners, and anticipating special effects shots, I watched the 119-minute movie.
It's a tragedy as well as a comedy, one simple word told with sad footage. If it was last semester, I would Wall Crack recommended it to my anthropology teacher, and I think this film fits her style of research well. Meeting different people is what I have learned from it, and it is what resonates strongly with my experiences over the past year. Meeting different people is not for showing off or curiosity, but learning to find a home for oneself. This is an important task that modern people need to do.
