Children 1 to 4 years old:
Begin to understand object permanence in the physical world.
Start using recognition and symbols, and information processing speeds up.
Communicate through language and use a single word to represent the whole meaning.
Although the brain is the fastest growing organ in the human body, the function and cognition of the brain are accepted by this cartoon at the age of 1-4. Children at this age do not use logical operations to solve problems. However, the cognition of gender and race began to develop. The equal treatment of gender and race in "Teletubbies" allows children to stay away from gender and racial discrimination since childhood, which is very beneficial to children's development.
The slow speech rate is criticized by everyone, but it is too ridiculous to always consider an animation for 1-4 year olds from an adult perspective!
PS: This cartoon is highly recommended by my psychology teacher
