Like many adults, I know that Teletubbies are the strange-looking dolls sold at the stalls, red, green, yellow, and blue, with three round belly, big eyes, big ears, and a belly. There is a shiny little monster.
It was the first time I watched Teletubbies on TV, listening to their voices and sentences, I really felt weak. Thinking that the screenwriter is too mentally handicapped, I closed it without looking at it twice.
However, our children, especially the children in the early stage, have always liked Teletubbies very much. As adults, we disdainly say: it is really something children see.
When I had a child, I watched Teletubbies seriously for the first time and said sincerely: I was wrong.
The arrangement of Teletubbies is very delicate
1. Starting from the child's daily life, repeating some commonly used sentences in life, it is easy for children who are babbling to learn the expressions they need.
2. The small mistakes made by Teletubbies, some small conflicts between them, are exactly what children will encounter in their own lives. Expressed in the form of cartoons, children feel close and easy to accept.
3. The cartoon image is very in line with children's aesthetics. Children at this stage like everything to be big: big ears, big eyes, big mouth, big belly, cute and funny.
4. In fact, "Teletubbies" is not only for children, but also for adults.
I don't think many adults have seen the reality show in every episode of Teletubbies. In each episode of the program, there are real life fragments of British children, such as doing housework, playing games, and various scenes in the children's life. It seems that it has nothing to do with Teletubbies, but it is actually guiding parents how to bring their children to play and interact with them at home.
This section, I think, is the biggest difference between "Teletubbies" and other animation works.
I sincerely recommend "Teletubbies" to good friends who are new parents.
