This type of subject matter really fascinates me: surgeons, psychopaths, dismemberment, daughter rape... Imagine the doctor around you is a cold-blooded murderous devil, dark and unpredictable.
But I don't think the show was well done. In addition to the very attractive dark title and the perverted story of Dr Hodel's rape of his daughter, many other embarrassing acting skills and touching IQ of the heroine have made me feel like I can't watch anymore...
The heroine did not shoot Dr Hodel at the end of the film, but looked him in the eye and told him:
I am not your daughter. I am Jimmy Lee's daughter.
At that moment, she was no longer afraid. Look directly at the demon in your heart and live in peace.
When one day you can no longer be afraid of the devil in your heart, you can look him in the eyes and talk calmly, you will be able to coexist peacefully, and you will no longer be hurt by him.
