The metaphors in many places in the film are very interesting. Compared with the religion and redemption that other film critics have said, what I see is not quite the same.
When most people call that the union of men and women is the only law to keep the balance in this world, the director has a unique opinion. In his movie world view, men and women are the relationship between the prey and the hunter. The two are born with irreconcilable contradictions, which have nothing to do with sensibility. Why isn't Jesus, the hunter's instinct, nailed to the web of the spider woman?
