At the end of the World Anti-Fascist War, the two surviving Finnish and Soviet soldiers, who were originally hostile, were in a remote area. In the North Russian wasteland, a local young woman named Cuckoo meets unexpectedly. They are together because of the difference in nationality, which makes their language communication a huge problem.
