What I want to say is, whether you have read comics before watching this film, the feeling is much different.
The two-hour movie has too many stories to condense, and it is not very enjoyable to watch, and it also makes the audience who have not been exposed to comics a little confused. It is still a little bloody (but why is it black blood? It's like more ink, so it's not that scary), a little pornographic (basically only the scene where Kishimoto is naked, and the rest are normal).
The shape is very cool, motor guns, black balls, aliens, etc., are regarded as a few representatives that are quite close to the original comics. It's a little bit emotional and a little dragged towards the end...but it's still acceptable. Thousand-handed Avalokitesvara is pretty cool, but the second half seems to be a little weak. I don't know if it's because of funding or what, the second half should be more "spectacular" and urgent.
Ninomiya Kazuichi's performance is in the middle of the standard, and he plays very close to the original comic character. Personally, I think Kato seems to be a bit out of tune this time.
After watching the first one, I definitely want to watch the second one.
Many mysteries remain unsolved, and the foreshadowing is well placed (but it’s okay to know the story because of reading the manga).
