Black, satire and karma

This film produced by Netflix tells the story of a corrupt policeman who was sentenced to 6 years in prison for negligent injury. He was released from prison. Colleagues are watching, and at the same time, it is time to repay the sins done in the past.
The introduction said that this film is black humor, but I think this film is more than black and lacks humor, and it is more about the truth of karma. The film does not directly explain what the male protagonist did before he was imprisoned, but it is not difficult to understand through dialogue that he is indeed a complete scum. Protecting his daughters from their father's ill influence cut them off from him. After he was released from prison, he was cast aside by everyone, including his parents. At the end of the film, his father would kill him so that he could not see his daughters. It really doesn't make sense. Of course, the other characters in the film are by no means good. It can be said that all the dead characters in the film are in a certain sense. "Second chance" and killed the big man behind the scenes, the old Weissy, and she herself was brutally murdered by the son of Weissy. In the end, the male protagonist who lost everything wiped off the fingerprints on the sharp knife his father inserted into his abdomen, which was regarded as the final redemption with his life.
Overall, this small-budget film is quite tasty. Although there are no fierce fights and gun battles, the story of this film is still very attractive. It is a very suitable movie to watch when one is bored. A sketch with black irony.

Chaplin: But? How do you feel?

Joe Denton: Feel? I feel that I was a nightmare. I made terrible choices. I drove my family away. I... I hurt people. I didn't mean to, but there it is. And for all that... there's a hole inside me now. It hurts. I carry it.
