character determines destiny

For Pepe's sake. Prefer the Korean version.
I agree with the last choice made by the heroine in the American version:
First of all, the younger brother in the Korean version has a bohemian character, but is gentle and kind. But Reman in the American version is irritable and cruel. Even though he pretended to be a gentle brother, he still couldn't hide his violent tendencies. Killing an ex-girlfriend is an example.
Secondly, compared with Li Meiyan's role, Jessica is more assertive and stubborn. As a lawyer, she is often more rational in her choices than soft-hearted. For example, at the beginning, it was suggested that Reman move out. Unlike the Korean version, who doesn't feel any different about the uncle, Jessica took over the case of Reiman and knew from the beginning of Reman's cruelty. The cruelty terrified her. And aside from the aesthetics of appearance, it is impossible for her to choose Ruiman.
Although the director made another ending, I still think the original ending is more suitable for the American version of poisoning. Although not as good as the Korean version, we can see that the same story happens to a protagonist of another character, and the love mixed with deceit turns into a thriller.
Character determines destiny, who says it doesn't?

Possession quotes

  • Hypnotist: Relax. You hear nothing, but the sound of my voice. When your heart slows down, so will your thoughts. 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Who are you?

    Roman: Ryan

  • Jessica: [Jessica wants Ryan's brother Roman out of her house] When are we getting our house back?

Ryan: Everybody is always giving Roman a raw deal. He's my brother, I'm not going to do that.

Jessica: I know you don't see it, but he scares me.
