A Canadian film that explores the theme of revenge on multiple levels.
When someone you love is killed, how do you choose? Is it to let the legal ruling send the prisoner to 20-25 years in prison? Or choose to forget and continue to live as if nothing happened? Or take revenge and torture the bad guys like the protagonist? As if neither of them could bring relief, the film itself fails to draw a conclusion.
This film is also very distinctive in emotional control and camera operation, so the development of the plot is believable and more thought-provoking.
