unbearably cruel

The film is about desire, a lonely desire floating in the void of the night sky as unbearable as the moon in Venice.

Desire is grotesque, ugly, amazing, but also natural and unattainable, it is either high in the night sky or deep in the water, only Casanova can see it, so Casanova is both lonely and Clownish.

What amazes me is the charming poetry in the film. The hazy and quiet moonlight travels through time and space, and is incomparable. I think the reason why it is fascinating is because it reflects the feelings of compassion for people. of the pitiful, and soothed with the laughter of God.
