There is such a whole row of VHS at home, which is the collection of Yusaku Matsuda by Baby Mommy, and the row of vinyls and books in the cabinet below are the first editions of EAGLES and john grisham by my father (I only saw it once). 88's "A Time to Kill" I'm going to steal it sooner or later XD). On the top level of the cabinet are the films of Jams Dean and River Phoenix that Old G was looking for. To be honest, I don't really understand how I feel about such actors or singers, because edward norton and matsuda and brain molko are obviously alive and well, hehe...
but I still remember River Phoenix dying in johnny deep's nightclub At the door, I howled all night. Even one day a few years ago, when River's already a little fat brother stood in front of the Golden Globes or MTV golden popcorn and shivered in nostalgia for his brother, I still saw my GG-sama's eyes were wet. In a sense, River Phoenix is like another Jams Dean to him, the Jams Dean of their formative years, I don't know how many people as old as me feel that way, but he doesn't feel that way. For a younger me, the name River Phoenix probably has the deepest impression on stand by me and My Own Private Idaho. But a few years later, when I suddenly thought about it, I found that I also remembered these films, and I couldn't help but break into a cold sweat... Subconsciously, maybe I also imagined watching River's younger brother sadly and wiping tears like GG... But it never happened. Courage really misses the complex ghosts and despair behind that face? Maybe, otherwise I wouldn't even find myself remembering a movie that wasn't really that special.
River Phoenix is actually just a lost lamb on and off screen, I've always felt that way.
