People living in cement cities can easily take a falsehood as reality: as long as you walk out of a home full of contradictions, an office with hidden murderous intentions, a huge supermarket, neatly arranged bouquets, dummies in the window, and exquisitely packaged gifts, Everything is so orderly, everything is completely rational, everything is a reminder of how healthy and self-contained this society is, and you should be.
So it seems that you can come out of your own emotions, and the consumer society has provided enough material to let those troubles dissipate in every skin and every lipstick you buy.
Feelings are not important, and worries are not important, so we also turn ourselves into the dummy in the window: dress up our appearance beautifully, and do the same in our circle of friends, as long as everything looks like this society. How benign, how self-righteous, this is enough.
But why doesn't life seem like that.
So we need such a drama to remind ourselves that everyone has their own odds and ends, and that mess can also be the foundation of life. We absolutely don’t have to live for anyone else, and we don’t have to live in society’s presuppositions.
It's better to give weed a chance, or come to watch the drama, and leave some room for your own troubles.
