The appearance of "Room" really opened the window of this type of film. More and more movies put the facts on the screen, look at human nature as a bystander, and let the audience make the judgement.
"Lost Thirteen Years" broke in again by the light of the room.
I watched it casually for 5 hours. I wanted to find a dark doubt in the girl at one time. It may be that the first season is paving the way for the later story, and it always feels a bit messy.
I would prefer to see a psychological portrayal of why men imprison women. It's not mentioned in either "Room" or "The Lost."
