I haven't seen the first episode of the 2008 adaptation of the comic, so I don't know how much the two plots are related. All in all, the second episode of starting from scratch looks very exciting. It started with a hot car chase, jumped into the sky to fight, and finally came out with a bit of a clichéd villain. Everything went smoothly. It's easy to think it's a Hollywood action blockbuster if it's not always accompanied by dialogue in French. The most enjoyable high-altitude fight is comparable to Tom's Spider-Man in "Mission: Impossible 4", and the level of thrill is even greater. The rapid decline of the wind, the dangerous and unknown fight, I haven't had such a breathless concentration in an action movie for a long time.
It is puzzling that the two films are so different in online ratings. Similar plots, similar thrills, just changing a male protagonist and the country makes such a huge difference, which makes people reflect on how powerful the superstar effect and brand power are and cannot be underestimated. It is worth mentioning that Sharon Stone, who has been abandoned by the mainstream media in the United States for many years, plays the role of the second person in the film.
