Van Damming: Regarding Lincoln's biographical film, we know that Spielberg shot a very popular film "Lincoln" two years ago, which won the 85th American Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Director, etc. 10 Multiple awards, the film wrote about Lincoln's life experience 4 months before his assassination. But some people may have seen it, and there is nothing new. I happen to have collected John Ford's "Young Lincoln" here. It is really an old film. It was shot in 1939. Because it is old, everyone must be unfamiliar. I took a rough look first, and thought it was very unique. The image of Henry Fonda in his youth is even more handsome and unrestrained in black and white, so I put it in the "Political Biographical Film Month". For Lincoln, the politician and the president of the United States, the story of this film should belong to his prequel. And our protagonist - the glorious image of young Lincoln has also been established. There is a scene in the film to let the court public cheer on Lincoln's clear judgment and final victory, but the camera is always facing Lincoln, and the public's applause and cheers are completely expressed through voiceover. It has also represented the public eye, which is both implicit and highlights the image of Lincoln himself.
