This film is a process of growing up, understanding and letting go of Zhang Tianzhi, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that another character's image was plump up.
In "Ip Man 3", Zhang Tianzhi was dissatisfied with Ye Wen, and there was also an element of jealousy. Why was his life state so different from the one he graduated from? So he played black boxing as a killer. In the end, he played a high-profile public kick and challenged Ye Wen. He was also very eager to prove himself. When he fought with Ye Wen, he showed no mercy. Compared to the two times when Ye Wen fought with the boxing champion, he showed mercy. I lost too many times, so I decided not to use Wing Chun again after I was defeated by Ip Man in one move.
In "Zhang Tianzhi", it can be seen that he began to think about the real meaning of kung fu, friends died tragically, justice was under the oppression of money and power, and the lives of relatives and friends were threatened. Ye Wen's personality is completely different, and his method is also more ruthless. For example, his house is burned down and burned back in minutes. In this play, his character has also grown a lot. Before, he couldn't solve the happy knot without Wing Chun and finally figured it out and faced himself. The self-reported "Wing Chun, Zhang Tianzhi" exploded instantly, and there was a detail in the restaurant that was reused. When Hui Yongchun started beating the Destroyer, he was just like Ip Man, he stopped when he poked his eyes, and here we can see that he had already realized why Ip Man won him.
As far as the actors are concerned, Zhang Jin is really handsome and his movements are neat and tidy, not to mention the fighting scenes, especially the opponent scene with Michelle Yeoh, I think the whole film is the best. Classic shot of pancake. Although Michelle Yeoh has a Hong Kong accent, she has an inexplicably elegant temperament, which is quite wonderful with the background of Hong Kong's story. The plot is still in the style of the Ip Man series. The downside is that the final ending is a bit too hasty, and it feels unfinished, and the part of cutting off the hand in it feels a bit too bland.
In general, it is worth 4 stars. It is a pity that the cinema has less films this time. The Ip Man series has been doing very well, and I hope to continue shooting.
