The drama version of [Perfume] has changed a lot.
"Smell" and "Killing" were extracted to become the inspiration for the series. The story is no longer about Grenouille collecting the body fragrance of girls, and the background of the story moved from Paris in the 18th century to modern times.
Through a series of brutal murders, an investigator (likely played by German actress Friedrich Bedrecht) uncovers the story of a group of boarding school boys who used the scent of their bodies to control others.
