I think Al Gore might have exaggerated his importance in bringing change, especially in the Paris Agreement, but I definitely feel him when Trump said the US will be withdrawing from the Agreement. (Though now Trump is throwing out crumbs and things are uncertain again. )

I don't get climate deniers and why it is political when both sides should want a habitable Earth. I always find it odd to say we're saving the Earth, because Earth will still be here and another species might rise if we destroy our living environment. So we're saving ourselves by keeping it livable.
