The National Day holiday was coming to an end, so I wanted to review the "Old Guns", and then see how the main theme of Feng Xiaoning's "Xintianyou" that couldn't be sold at the time, and how absurd "Please, praise me". As a result, I watched a relatively boring "Descent" and a "Escape" by the former jade girl Sophie Marceau.
Regarding "Escape", there are people who applaud loudly, saying that its narrative structure, scene scheduling, etc. are outstanding. From this film, some deep-seated issues have also been thought out; there are also those that tend to be derogatory. For example, there is an opinion that is sentimental Yes, I think Sophie is old, saying that the blue veins on her hands reveal the real old face, the youth is no longer beautiful, and there is another opinion that is rational, starting from the admirable familiarity with genre films, points out various bridges Similar and outdated, you can guess the end when you look at the beginning.
When I watched the movie, it was purely for fun. Not only did I know nothing about the language of the movie, but I also lacked a sense of history and had a poor memory, so I didn't see how good it was or how bad it was. Forget about it.
I didn't expect much, so I thought I was very objective. I just think, as a suspense movie, I prefer its rhythm. Tension is tense, but not so tight (and certainly not as soothing as old-fashioned movies). It's not that I don't want to enjoy that kind of oppressive plot advancement, but I'm willing to change my taste.
As for deep thinking, it seems a little too tiring, and watching a movie to see a philosopher is not so lucky. As for Sophie, she is indeed old. Compared with the time of the jade girl, it must be a grade of "old", but we have a new jade girl to enjoy. The old one should let her grow old. Much better. In addition, I admire and disgust a group of people who watch movies with a textual perspective-they have given me a lot of knowledge, but they almost make me feel inferior when I watch the movies , I am afraid that I am caught in the old trap and show my naivety.
It is said that Sophie Marceau came to China some time ago with "Fleeing". I guess the box office of this film will not be particularly good. If Sophie doesn't come, it will be even worse. The taste and psychology of the audience, and the operating mechanism of the entire film market, are all "blockbuster" (so-called) and hype-style, and seldom can accommodate a different style. What's more, the style of "running away" seems too neutral in front of "blockbusters".
