A lot of people don't really understand the paranormal phenomena in movies. You may think that these ghosts are usually related to the theme of ufo. But that's not the case.
If anyone has seen the legend of "Djinn" in Middle Eastern mythology, you can roughly understand the plot of the movie. The lamp god here is not the one in Aladdin's lamp, the lamp god in theology and secret legends is a completely different matter. Legend has it that the lamp god is made of fire but does not burn. Jinn means "invisible" in Arabic, and its root is the same as "madness". Let's review the movie details.
1 The man in the cave is actually a wizard, and the species he communicates with is actually a lamp god. They cannot be observed with the naked eye, but the male protagonist's infrared device can see them. The sorcerer provides them with water that turns into sand - according to legend, the Djinn can materialize everything, but everything turns into dust in the end.
2 It is believed that evil Djinn tribes like Beni Ghilan feed on human corpses.
3 Legend has it that there will be a buzzing sound before the Djinn appears, and in the movie there is the sound of a helicopter when the Djinn appears.
4 Electromagnetic phenomena: There is a book about oasis in medieval Morocco, which tells of a man being led by a lamp god to a magical island. He returned to his village many years later and left behind a map pointing to the island. Modern day researchers of the book tried to find the mysterious island based on this map, which later turned out to point to the center of the Bermuda Triangle. That mountain area may be another location for the Djinn, and the Bermuda Triangle is known to have strange electromagnetic phenomena.
5 Strange Light: It is also mentioned in the legend that it emits light whenever the Djinn appears. In the movie, when the wizard is taken away, there is also a strange human-like light (it should be the lamp god)
6 Ending: It is said that the lamp god has strong telepathy and will hide their existence. The ending of the movie is that the male protagonist's brain is ruined and turned into a vegetative state. This is because he was too close to the lamp god, so the lamp god pointed at his forehead and paralyzed him, probably as a warning to humans.
