There are three main female characters in the show, namely the Doctor of Botany, Helen and Charlie's wife.
Perhaps what the screenwriter wants to express is the life trajectories of women with different beliefs and backgrounds in this special era. So we see three very different people. The Doctor of Botany is sad because of her husband's silence and because he cannot carry out his own research. But she worked hard to present a tough, intelligent, family-friendly woman. Needless to say, Helen is my favorite of the three women. To borrow a blogger's comment on Baima Xiaoxifeng, Helen's attitude towards sex is that you don't have to say it, and I won't mention it again. As the only female physicist in the entire base, she was alienated and rejected by the housewives, but she didn't care. She gave up her lover and children to come to a place that did not exist on this map, and completed her belief in a very relaxed and comfortable attitude. Chase and enjoyment of life (she and Issac have a very tense confrontation)
Well, down is our amazing Bai Fumei. In her new drama, I remember this actress who I hate so much. Probably because of her fair skin and beauty (I don't like it), her roles in these two dramas are all beautiful men, delicate and innocent young women. There are more than ten unforgivable stupidities in the Manhattan Project. When her husband risked his life, endured contempt and insults to point out the problem of the nuclear reactor, she suspected that her husband was messing with a female colleague, and she and the female neighbor did it first; when her husband was racking his brains late at night to make a model, she was wondering why his husband I neglected myself; when the rambunctious was about to go home (understandable), her husband explained the (false) secret to her, and she turned her head and talked to others.
Looking at her and Charlie's daily life, I am tired for this man and play the piano to the cow. However, the two of them are typical American couples. Charlie climbed to this position from the bottom, and he couldn't refuse the innocent and beautiful young lady. He didn't rely on the woman's family background and money, but he couldn't refuse this innocent attraction. But in a different environment, when a husband and wife are required to share weal and woe, innocence becomes fatally superficial. This kind of genius whose intelligence is many times better than ordinary people, in my heart, the perfect match should be like Nash and Alicia in "A Beautiful Mind". And our Mrs. Bai Fumei is far from it.

Seeing Bai Fumei working hard to protect Charlie, I sighed, she's not that bad, she just grew up in a honey pot, she's too stupid
