Passable

Audiences who may not have seen the "Initial D" animation will have some positive comments on the film, but after watching the animation, you will understand that the "Initial D" movie is not satisfactory.
Originally, Japanese culture has the characteristics of pushing things to the extreme and striving for perfection. In animation, due to its own characteristics, this point is greatly amplified. Therefore, the drift in animation can be said to have reached its limit, which is one of the highlights. However, due to the use of real drivers to perform drifting in the movie, of course, the exaggerated effect in the animation cannot be achieved, and the visual impact has dropped a lot.
Jay Chou acted in a movie for the first time, and the difference in his acting skills is obvious to all. Takuhai's character is soft and strong, but dull and sharp. Such a role is not a small challenge for a professional actor, let alone a person who can't act at all. Choosing Jay Chou is more of a commercial hype, and for the film itself, there are all harms and no benefits.
On the whole, if there is no hype in the early stage, there is no so-called big investment gimmick, it may be more acceptable to me.
