God and Social Power Structures

Most of the people living in this country are ignorant of religion for some reason. Over the years, the management has been loose, and some have followed the trend and played a Western style, singing and singing together to improve their style. Few people recognize it as a social power structure design. The poor monk explained:

Society is made up of countless individuals. In a godless society, individuals are ranked first, second, third...until the last one in the society (the xx million xx million) xxxx bits). Such social rankings exist in human society as well as in the animal kingdom. In a group of monkeys, there is the first monkey king, the second one has been defeated by the monkey king, the third one has been defeated by the second one... The last and weakest monkey in the monkey group can be ranked in order. This does not require social structure design, it is purely a natural order of strength. The Monkey King does whatever he wants among the monkeys, and all those who follow him obey him. A human monarch is essentially the same as a monkey king. Don't accept it, fuck you. Take it, fuck your wife.

In a society with gods, the structure is different. The first is always the god, and the second is the mortal monarch and the next xxxx. God must be a completely abstract existence, different from religion to religion, but must be formless and formless. It can be an old man in a white robe in the sky, a woman in the sky, or some kind of imaginary animal. The Chinese are good at abstraction and call this first "God". Then people endow the first god with the best qualities imaginable, and let it represent the morals recognized by society.

The difference between the two societies is whether moral criticism is valid for the monarch. In a society with gods, when the monarch does something bad, people will use the name of the god in the first place to criticize him, that is, to criticize him morally. America claims to be "We are one nation under God.", while Chinese monarchs will say that they are the Son of Heaven (the first son) and that what they do is "according to the mandate of Heaven". If many people judged him to have violated God's will or God's will, people would justifiably ask him to be dismissed. If he resists, people will "act for heaven". The monarch had to maintain the morality of the society.

In a godless society, the first is the monarch, and the people in the latter order can't criticize him, and the monkeys can't criticize the monkey king either. They can only find a way to defeat him with more powerful strength and become the first. And the final outcome of each monkey king is to be defeated by the new monkey king, and the cycle is repeated. Moral criticism is useless in such a place, and violence must be used. The monarch is concerned with maintaining the strongest violence.

From the above, we can see that it is a very wise design to free up the first place for the abstract gods, so that the society can operate according to the consensus of the majority of people, and the monkey society often leads to encounters between swordsmen and soldiers. It is interesting that some of the human societies claim to have no gods, and they desperately pretend that the first mortal is a god to avoid the chaos of monkeys.

Angel's Egg quotes

  • Boy: I've seen a tree like this somewere... When was it? So long ago that I've forgotten... Under a sky where the clouds made sound as they moved. The black horizon swelled and from it grew a huge tree. It sucked the life from the ground... And it's pulsing branches reached up, as if to grasp something...

  • Boy: Maybe you, I and the fish only exist in the memory of a person who is long gone. Maybe no one really exists and it's only raining outside.
