I looked through the comments and found that no one noticed this detail, at the beginning of the video:
1, a pair of hands, made two movements, replaced with a hand, this hand rotated 360°, clenched into a fist;
2, in the egg chick with closed eyes, close-up of eyes, trembling slightly.
I still don't understand the meaning of the hand, but I saw a related sentence in the play, which was described by the soldier:
"The black horizon rises, and from there grows a huge tree, which draws life from the ground and stretches out. Leaves, as if to catch something. A huge bird sleeps in an egg." Those hands should be related to the creation of the world.
The meaning of the shot of the bird in the back is actually very obvious, the bird is dreaming. After the close-up of the eyes, on the white field, the male protagonist with a cross appeared, and then the story began. This seems to indicate that the whole story behind, or that the whole world is a dream of birds.
The soldier in the film has this passage:
"The birds I saw, I don't even remember where and when, it was a long time ago, maybe it was a dream. Maybe you and me and fish exist only in the dead In human memory, maybe no one really exists, only the rain that has been falling outside. Maybe the bird never existed at all."
After saying this, the camera stopped on the soldier's face for 10 seconds, as if to show the audience Think time, or to highlight the importance of this passage.
Regarding the dream hints in the title, I think of the beginning of "Mulholland Drive", a subjective shot of a person, swaying down on the bed, and the black scene enters the text.
In fact, many directors especially like to set key information at the beginning of the film, and the scene at the beginning is particularly easy to be ignored by the audience.
