Al Pacino is so cute

Recently, I saw some absurd and pretentious forced "cute" in some internal entertainment talent shows. I suddenly remembered this documentary I watched a month ago. The real cuteness can't be pretended. Pacino is quite a lovely person.

When I marked this movie as "watched", I paid special attention to the number of people, and I was the 1000th. A little useless sense of ritual.

To ordinary people in English-speaking countries, Shakespeare may be like Lu Xun to us, the obscure old man who wrote the must-read books for middle school years ago.

The last time I suddenly started watching Macbeth because of a play, I put it down halfway through, and now I can't remember the content at all. As a semi-documentary, in terms of the original intention of the creator, it was successful. It wanted the audience to understand Shakespeare. As an audience, I understand Shakespeare a little more than before.

It took me three nights to finish watching this movie, because I had to concentrate so much. At a time when I felt a little closer to Shakespeare, I suddenly felt lonely. I'm maybe a little further away from the "crowd", and I'll probably never meet a person to whom I mention them in reality. A Chinese post-90s reading Shakespeare sounds full of literary hypocrisy.

But then I remembered that I was not alone. Al, he's not alone either. He came all the way to Shakespeare's birthplace, and said to a small empty bed, you can feel, you know you are not alone. Then the noise of those who went with him set off the fire alarm.

I spent quite a bit of time watching movies throughout January, many of which, unknowingly or not, were related to Al Pacino.

If you only talk about him, he is far from the many images on his screen. A person's cuteness and sheerness cannot be disguised or concealed. When he was rehearsing for his character's death, he lay down on the steps on the street. After the performance, he rolled his eyes and lied back to play dead. He paid for his own money as a director to make films that were not released in theaters. He was thirty, fifty, eighty years old. Years are always the same Al Pacino. He is someone who cannot be changed by time, and his own strength is strong enough to compete with the world.
