I have only watched 2 of this series so far. It is said that 1 is good for the other two, and 3 is bad. I am inexplicably glad that I started watching the second part of the mean.
To say it's scary is to say it's disgusting. There is a common problem with all American horror films, the abuse of blood plasma, the picture is so unpleasant that people want to fast forward when they see red.
The protagonist is a girl who suffers from dark phobia due to the murder of her parents in her childhood. She and her brother depended on each other for life, and under the ravages of psychological counseling, medication and electrotherapy and other cruel psychiatric treatments, they thrived and grew up.
When she was 18 years old, her brother who had recovered early said that he would temporarily leave to interview for a job in another city and had to leave her behind. This made her worry a lot, because she still has a heart disease, and she has not cured the phobia. She didn't want to be left alone.
But the conditions really did not allow her to be willful. Her brother's schedule has been set, and she has to move into the hospital for further treatment. Everything seemed calm, as if she just had to wait for her brother to come back. She comforted herself in an uneasy mood, let's get through it, it's just one night.
But what she didn't expect was that this night turned out to be the reality version of the nightmare. In the hospital, the terrifying monster in her dream was haunted, and the patients kept being killed in a bizarre way. It was so terrifying, it scared her out of her body!
After the panic, she calmed down. Probably used to fear? Or some kind of strange familiarity is spreading. In short, she became the only sober and bravest person in the entire hospital. She wants to save herself and others, even if she saves one more.
She fled, and began to fight back. She fought a guerrilla war in the hospital. The enemy advanced and we retreated, and the enemy retreated and we attacked. After several rounds of stalemate, the opponent did not take advantage of it! She was still alive, although everyone else was almost dead.
If the previous horror experience taught her to be brave, then the later truth made her collapse. Why? Because the murderer is not an evil spirit, not a monster, but her biological brother.
The moment the mask was taken off, she couldn't believe her eyes and shouted 'No! Do not! Do not! 'What's the use of shouting? Can't change the fact that his relatives are perverted killers. She cried sadly, weeping. It didn't work either. Brother's fragile soul has long been swallowed by his own imaginary demon in that small dark room. He is no longer her brother, he is no longer anyone. He was no longer trustworthy, his tears or confessions seemed so foreign to her that she couldn't tell the difference.
She had never been so frightened now. Cold sweat penetrated her back and tears blurred her eyes. The relatives who once depended on each other for life have now become the cold-blooded evil spirits who hunted and killed her.
The ending was unpleasant and gave an open ended. I thought it would be a slightly warm and poignant ending like 'When the elder brother chased and killed the younger sister, he was killed by the younger sister, and finally died peacefully in the arms of the younger sister'. After all, the tragic experience of the elder brother being tortured by the doctor is still worthy of sympathy. But the result is not at all~! At the end, my brother even blamed others for the murder, and he escaped very cleverly, which turned into a downright bloody plot~! The younger sister stood up surrounded by a group of police, looked into the distance shudderingly, without focus, and then the subtitles came out.
Really... how should I put it, it could have been terrifying and tasteful, or sensational and terrifying, but the fact is, it's both wrong.
That's it, three stars, not too low.
